GPC Project Groups Set
Fees for Publishing On-Line
The following rules and fee schedules have been set for member and
non-member companies that wish to publish performance numbers on-line
in the GPC News:
OPC Project Group -- Viewperf
Non-Member Publishing
Non-members of the OPC project group may submit Viewperf performance
results at a cost of $200 per configuration for each viewset. Payment
must be received before results are placed on-line. Any change in
hardware or software constitutes a new configuration. Rules 2, 3 and
4 for members also apply to non-members submitting performance
results for publication.
Member Publishing
- Paying members of the OPC project group can submit as many
Viewperf performance results as they wish without additional fees.
- A configuration will be published on-line for one year, unless
the submitter notifies the publisher that it should be removed.
After one year, the configuration will be removed automatically,
unless the submitter notifies the publisher that it should remain
on-line. There are no additional fees for extending on-line
publication beyond one year.
- The OPC project group may remove configurations as a result of
revisions in viewsets or Viewperf. In this case, the vendor will
be given notice by the project group and may, at no charge,
resubmit the identical configuration for the revised viewset or
Viewperf.
- A new configuration is defined as any that requires a change
in the hardware or software section of the submittal form.
Contact the OPC project
group if you are interested in publishing performance results or
if you would like more information on membership.
OPC Project Group -- GLperf
Non-Member Publishing
Non-members of the OPC project group may submit GLperf performance
results at a cost of $500 per configuration. Payment must be received
before results are placed on-line. Any change in hardware or software
constitutes a new configuration. Rules 2, 3 and 4 for members also
apply to non-members submitting performance results for publication.
Member Publishing
- Paying members of the OPC project group can submit as many
GLperf performance results as they wish without additional fees.
- A configuration will be published on-line for one year, unless
the submitter notifies the publisher that it should be removed.
After one year, the configuration will be removed automatically,
unless the submitter notifies the publisher that it should remain
on-line. There are no additional fees for extending on-line
publication beyond one year.
- The OPC project group may remove configurations as a result of
revisions in datasets or GLperf. In this case, the vendor will be
given notice by the project group and may, at no charge, resubmit
the identical configuration for the revised dataset or GLperf.
- A new configuration is defined as any that requires a change
in the hardware or software section of the submittal form.
Contact the OPC project
group if you are interested in publishing performance results or
if you would like more information on membership.
PLB Project Group
Non-Member Publishing
Non-members can publish PLB results at a rate of $500 per PLBsurf
submission and $500 per PLBwire submission. Payment must be received
before results are placed on-line.
Member Publishing
- Members of the PLB project group receive six free
configurations to report per calendar quarter at no charge. Each
submission must include all tests in each averaged group
(PLBwire93, PLBsurf93) or none of them.
- The number of free submittals is not accruable or
transferrable from quarter to quarter.
- OPC rule number 3 does not apply to the PLB project group.
Membership in this group provides six free configurations per
calendar quarter. Members cannot publish, for example, six systems
for PLBwire93 and six different systems for PLBsurf93 under the
allowance for six free configurations.
- A change in pricing does not constitute a new configuration.
- The charge is $50 for each configuration above six in a
calendar quarter.
- A configuration will be published on-line for one year, unless
the submitter notifies the publisher that it should be removed.
After one year, the configuration will be removed automatically,
unless the submitter notifies the publisher that it should remain
on-line. There are no additional fees for extending on-line
publication beyond one year.
- Configurations may be removed by the PLB project group as a
result of revisions in standard benchmark files or BIF Spec
changes. In this case, the vendor will be given notice by the
project group and may, at no charge, resubmit the identical
configuration for the revised benchmark file or BIF Spec.
- A new configuration is defined as any that requires a change
in the hardware or software section of the submittal form.
Contact the PLB project
group if you are interested in membership.
