Solution Under Test Configuration Notes ======================================= The benchmark was run on a single Supermicro 1U Rackmount server with local NVMe storage disks. RAID0 config was created using the drives and XFS file system was setup on the RAID0. Ubuntu22.04.3 OS was installed on an internal m.2 NVMe drive. There were no additional external clients or storage devices or network devices were connected to this setup. The new AS-1115SV-WTNR system has AMD EPYC 8324P (32cores) processor and 10 NVMe drives were connected to support lots of disk storage and good storage performance. The testing was done with SMT enabled in BIOS to enable 64 threads for more processing power. Other Solution Notes ==================== None Dataflow ======== This single server setup has a RAID0 partition created on the local storage drives and XFS file system was created on the RAID. Data gets written directly on to the XFS filesystem and on to the NVMe storage devices. No other external storage device was used. Other Notes =========== The benchmark was run on a single Supermicro AS-1115SV-WTNR server using its local NVMe drives. No other client system, or external storage device or networking device was connected to this test system. Benchmarking was done on Ubuntu22.04.3 using the default kernel 5.15.0-79-generic #86-Ubuntu. NA: The test sponsor attests, as of date of publication, that CVE-2017-5754 (Meltdown) is mitigated in the system as tested and documented. NA: The test sponsor attests, as of date of publication, that CVE-2017-5753 (Spectre variant 1) is mitigated in the system as tested and documented. Yes: The test sponsor attests, as of date of publication, that CVE-2017-5715 (Spectre variant 2) is mitigated in the system as tested and documented.
