The P420i controller has 8 x 400 GB MLC SSD internal drives attached.
4 x D2700 disk enclosures are connected via 2 dual port HP Smart Array P421 controllers.

Client Driver Notes

All prime clients were VMs running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6.2 KVM.
The prime controller runs on the first vClient.
Each vClient has 2 vCPUs, 4GB memory, 1 virtio_blk device and 1 virtio_net device.
All physical clients have 12 x 1 Gbps ports, 8 of the 12 ports are connected to the private network,
and are configured as software bridges, each vClient use one bridge.
3 physical clients host 21 vClients, 7 vClients per physical system,
1 physical client hosts 4 vClients.
The physical clients and the vClients were all booting to run level 3.
Boot parameters set on vClients: selinux=0 audit=0 elevator=deadline crashkernel=auto.
The following services are disabled on vClients:
atd, auditd, autofs, cpuspeed, ip6tables, iptables, irqbalance, nfs, nfslock, postfix, rpcbind, rpcgssd, rpcidmapd.

Other Notes

A single ProCurve 2910al 48-port switch was used to connect clients to SUT. The 10GbE ports were attached to
a dual port 10 GbE SFP+ expansion module (J9008A)
